Day Plan
Up to the forest. Bus 15 or 27 from the city or Yalong Bay to Tropical Paradise Forest Park (¥175 incl. sightseeing car, 08:00–17:30 · +86 898 3823 8888). Ride the car from the west gate up to the Red-roofed Ridge summit park — the natural giant-Buddha rock and the panorama over Yalong Bay.
The cable bridge & bird's-nest villas. Cross the Guojianglong cable bridge (¥20, free for Bird's Nest Resort guests; ¥10 optional photos) — the 168 m span where Ge You carried Shu Qi in the movie. Wander the bird's-nest villas embedded in the treetops, and theYanbo Pavilion,Guojianglong cable bridge andLiuyun Studio viewpoints — the three best photo stops.
Down to the bay. Ride the car back down or walk the forest trail, then spend the late afternoon on the free Yalong Bay crescent — swim, shell museum (¥56) or butterfly valley (¥26) on the way back. Bus 15/27 back to the city (~¥10); a taxi to town is ¥40–60.
