The Beihai city day — the aquariums in the morning, the 1883 arcade at noon, and the 24 km silver beach with its musical fountain after dark. No ferry, no early start; bookable end-to-end by our team.
The aquariums. Start at Underwater World (adult ~RMB 148; dive shows at 09:00/10:00/11:00/14:00/15:00/16:00) for the 100 m acrylic tunnel. If you have time, add Ocean Window (Sichuan South Road, ~RMB 147, 08:00–18:00) and its 11 m-diameter tank with the fish-and-shark show. Both are reached on the bus 3 loop.
Old Street. Bus 2 or 8 to the Waisha bridge and walk to Zhuhai Road Old Street (begun 1883, 1.44 km of grey qilou arcade, free). Lunch on Li Yi shrimp cakes (~RMB 4) and Vietnamese snacks, and browse the pearl and dried-seafood stalls.
Silver Beach & the fountain. Bus 3 to Silver Beach — 24 km of fine white quartz, free all day. Swim, rent a beach cart (RMB 80) or a flying-fish (RMB 180), then stay for dusk and the 'Chao' musical fountain: four evening shows of 15 minutes, 5,200 nozzles and a 70 m jet. Dinner on the Qiaogang dapaidangs or Waisha seafood island.
Ferry tickets, bikes, diving and guides arranged by our team — free of charge, no obligation.
