The easy Huizhou classic — the city's lake and replica Austrian town on day one, the cleanest beach on the eastern Guangdong coast on day two. Built for the short break; bookable end-to-end by our team.
West Lake & the Hallstatt-style town. Morning: Huizhou West Lake (free, 07:00–22:30 summer) — the five lakes, six bridges and the Sizhou Pagoda where Su Dongpo once looked out; hire a pedal boat or stroll the Su Causeway. Afternoon: bus out to the Hallstatt-style town above Boluo (take the Huizhou–Luofu or Huizhou–Shilong bus to Boluo, walk 800 m towards Tangquan) — the church spire, flower-basket iron bridge and painted waterfront. Shoot in the soft light after 16:00, and bring water (the town has few shops). Evening: dinner of meicai kou rou and salt-baked chicken back in Huicheng.
Xunliao Bay beach day. Take the direct bus from Henan'an Station (every 30 min, 07:00–19:00, ¥30, ~2 h) out to Xunliao Bay (Jinwan Bay ¥8, Deze Garden ¥10, 08:00–18:00). White sand underfoot, clear blue water — choose a banana boat, kayak or jet-ski, or take the yacht out to Coral Island for a guided dive. Lunch on fresh seafood by the beach, walk the reefs of Mozi Stone Park through the afternoon, then the last bus back around 19:00. Prefer to linger? Spend the night at the Bijia Sea-View Resort and watch the sunset over the bay.
Resorts, mountain tickets, hot springs, train seats and guides arranged by our team — free of charge, no obligation.
The Jingjiu and Guangmeishan railways meet at Huizhou West and North stations; coaches run to Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Fly into Shenzhen (coach ~3 h, ¥56) or Guangzhou and transfer.
Night one in Huicheng: City Inn from ¥168 or Nature Business from ¥180. Night two at Xunliao: Bijia Sea-View Resort from ¥160. Browse Guangdong hotels — we book any free.
Dinner on meicai kou rou, Dongjiang salt-baked chicken and stuffed tofu (~¥50 pp); beach lunch on seafood and mountain-stream fish at Xunliao.
