The signature Wuyishan experience — a bamboo raft down the jade-green Nine-Bend Stream past Yunü Peak and Dawang Peak, with the cliff-hanging boat coffins above, finishing at Wuyi Palace. Bookable end-to-end by our team.
Out to Xingcun Dock. Take the bus or a resort transfer to Xingcun — the raft dock is the starting point of the stream. Arrive at least an hour early, especially in peak season, and protect shoes and your camera: Wuyishan often showers in the afternoon. Buy the raft ticket (¥100 + ¥2 insurance) or book it through your hotel.
The nine bends. Drift downstream for about 1.5 hours as the stream curls through nine bends. Look up for the ancient-Yue boat coffins wedged in the cliff caves; admire Yunü Peak (the maiden pillar) and Dawang Peak (the celestial king) from the water — the best photo angles are from the raft. Tip the boatman about ¥100 for commentary and songs.
Wuyi Palace & home. The raft lands at Wuyi Palace, the former terminus Qingchuan. Visit the two-storey Wuyishan Museum, wander the grey-tiled Song Street, and see the Zhu Xi and Liu Yong memorial halls — all free. Lunch on West Street in the resort, then the bus or transfer back. If you have an evening, catch Impression Dahongpao (20:00, ¥218–688).
Hotels, bamboo-raft tickets, rock-tea tastings, the Impression Dahongpao show and guides arranged by our team — free of charge, no obligation.
Xingcun Dock is reached by bus or resort transfer from Wuyishan city (15 km) or the Sangu resort. Raft departures: Dock 1 at 7:20/8:30/9:40/10:30/13:20/14:30; Dock 3 at 8:00/9:50/13:30. Leave the resort by 08:00 for the best light.
Raft ¥100 per person + ¥2 insurance; tip about ¥100 per raft; the scenic pass (¥140–160) is not needed for the raft itself but covers Wuyi Palace and the museum. Our team books the whole package free.
Base yourself in the Sangu resort: Yuehua (¥818+), Wuyi Villa (¥338+), Home Inn (¥152+), tea inns (¥129+) or family hostel beds (¥40+). Browse Fujian hotels.
