Arrive in Kangding by flight or G318 coach, settle at altitude with a slow walk along the river, and take the cable up Paoma Mountain for the town panorama and the temples of the love-song mountain.
Mugecuo day - the RMB 220 shuttle to the lake, the boardwalk and the boat (RMB 290 all-in), the Qianpu Falls in season, and the evening hotpot back in town.
The G318 loop - the Xinduqiao photo corridor at the golden hour, Tagong grassland and temple, the Zheduo Pass views, and the return road to Kangding.
