Dalian Romantic 3-Day Tour

For couples and slow travellers — three days to sink into Dalian's romance: heritage trams, plaza culture, ocean parks and beach sunsets.

Day-by-Day Plan

Day 1

City loop. Take the City Loop bus (¥10, hop on and off all day) to the Forest Zoo stop, then walk to Xinghai Square (free, 24h). Ride tram 202 to Jin Hui Mall, lunch around Xi'an Road, then tram 201 to Renmin Road — the financial heart — for coffee. Walk back past Zhongshan Square (Russian architecture) and Youhao Square (the crystal ball). Dinner near Zhongshan Square or Tianjin Street.

Day 2

Tiger Beach & Bangchuidao. Spend the day at Tiger Beach Ocean Park; take a boat from Tiger Beach to Bangchuidao Island (¥20, summer 8:00–17:00) if time allows. With energy left, take the City Loop to Beida Bridge, Yanwoling and Xiuyue Peak west of Tiger Beach. Evening: shopping at Qingniwaqiao and Victory Square.

Day 3

Golden Pebble Beach & Discoveryland. Morning light rail to Jinshitan. If the sea is too cold, start with the Wax Museum and Jinshiyuan Park's sculpted rocks, then Discoveryland rides — or simply enjoy sun and sand at the Golden Pebble bathing beach. Take the light rail back for a seafood dinner in town (see Dalian restaurants).

Practical tips for this itinerary

Add a fourth day with our day trips to Lüshun or Bingyu Valley. Autumn (September–October) offers the same scenery with thinner crowds. Our team can turn this plan into a fully arranged trip — hotels, tickets and transfers — free of charge.
