Out to the island where Wen Tianxiang wrote 'I will leave my loyal heart to shine in the pages of history' — Wailingding Island: a fishing village, Da Dong Bay beach and a lookout over the Lingding Channel. Bookable end-to-end by our team.
Out to Wailingding. Arrive at Xiangzhou North Pier by 08:00 for the 08:20 fast ferry (¥85, 1.5 h). On board, the Pearl River estuary opens into the South China Sea — keep an eye out for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge approach on the way. Arrive by 10:00; walk from the pier into the fishing village.
Village lunch & beach. Lunch at a village seafood restaurant — the catch that came off the boat this morning. Then Da Dong Bay beach: fine sand, calm water, beach umbrellas. Rent snorkel gear from the kiosk or simply swim.
Beidi Bell & Twin Peaks. Walk up to the Beidi Dawn Bell and the Twin Peaks Panorama lookout for the classic island-and-sea photograph — the archipelago spreads across the Lingding Channel. Back to the pier for the 16:20 ferry, returning to Xiangzhou by 18:00.
Hotels, island ferries, hot-spring passes and Macau-loop cruises arranged by our team — free of charge, no obligation.
Xiangzhou North Pier is in Xiangzhou district. Ferries leave 08:20 and 14:30, return 10:10 and 16:20; ¥85 each way. Tickets sell out in summer — book through your hotel desk the day before.
Ferry ¥85 each way · island free · lunch ¥60–100 · snorkel/beach gear rental small. Our team books the ferry and lunch free.
Wailingding has a handful of family inns; stay the night for the sunrise over the fishing harbour. Browse Guangdong hotels.
