The 'Little Qinhuai' of Guangzhou: Enning Road grey-brick mansions, Tao Tao Ju afternoon tea, the waterways of Liwan Lake & Lychee Bay, and the Shangxiajiu arcade street to finish. Bookable end-to-end by our team.
Xiguan old mansions. Metro line 1 to Changshou Road and wander Enning Road — the grey-brick 'old mansions' with carved doorheads, the lanes where old Guangzhou life still unfolds (the Xiguan mansions area is free; the enclosed historic houses carry a small ¥10 fee).
Afternoon tea. Rest at century-old Tao Tao Ju (20 Shifu Road · +86 20 8138 9632) — durian pastry, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet and custard buns, the classic Cantonese afternoon.
Liwan Lake & Lychee Bay. Walk to Liwan Lake Park (free, 06:30–22:00) — willows, pavilions and the Lychee Bay waterway known as Guangzhou's 'Little Qinhuai', the old Xiguan water-town feel by day or by lamplight.
Shangxiajiu arcade street. Finish on Shangxiajiu — the longest qilou shopping street in China, lined with old brand names, roast meats and wedding cakes. Pick up Cantonese sausages and pastries to take home.
Hotels, Canton Tower tickets, Chimelong passes, cruise seats and guides arranged by our team — free of charge, no obligation.
