Beihai Park Travel Guide
Beihai Park is one of China's oldest imperial gardens, dating back over 800 years to the Liao dynasty. Its centerpiece is the white Dagoba (White Tower) crowning Qionghua Island in the middle of the lake, reached by the famous Jade Islet Spring. Willows, lotus, stone bridges and the five-dragon pavilions make it a favorite of locals and photographers alike.
