Badaling Great Wall Travel Guide
Badaling is the most visited and best-restored section of the Great Wall, about 70 km northwest of central Beijing. Its high stone watchtowers and steep ramparts rise through green mountains, and as the section first opened to tourists in 1957 it remains the classic Great Wall experience — including a cable car and a famous 'Good Man' stele.
