Why Grapes from Changdu?

Grapes is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Naximinzu Township, Mangkang County, Mangkang County, Changdu, Tibet province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride. The product reflects the region's natural advantages and the craftsmanship of its people, and it has become a signature of local tourism — a taste, a craft or a tradition that visitors take home.

Where to Buy & How to Visit

The certified village is located in Mangkang County, Changdu — usually within an hour or two of the city center. Many One Village One Product villages welcome visitors for orchard and field visits, product tastings and cultural experiences.
