Kiwifruit is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Ermiao Village, Zhouzhi County, Zhouzhi County, Xian, Shaanxi province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride. The certified village is located in Zhouzhi County, Xian — usually within an hour or two of the city center.
