Shiitake mushrooms is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Quankou Town, Menyuanhuizu Autonomous County, Menyuanhuizu Autonomous County, Haibei, Qinghai province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride.
