Why Strawberries from Wuhan?
Strawberries is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Luohansi Street, Huangpi District, Huangpi District, Wuhan, Hubei province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride. Sourced from the region's fields and mountains, the herb is harvested and processed following traditional methods, valued both in Chinese medicine and as a specialty food ingredient.
