Youji rice is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Shangyang Village, Liping County, Liping County, Qiandongnan, Guizhou province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride.
