Danji is one of the nationally recognized “One Village One Product” specialties of Dousu Village, Cengong County, Cengong County, Qiandongnan, Guizhou province, China. The program, run by China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, certifies villages whose signature agricultural or handicraft product has become a local economic pillar and a point of regional pride. Raised in the region's traditional way, the meat product is prized for its flavor and is a centerpiece of local festive meals and gift-giving.

The certified village is located in Cengong County, Qiandongnan — usually within an hour or two of the city center.
